Who Am I?

Bonjour tout le monde; (french for 'Hello Everyone!')

Instead of starting of with the usual boring introduction, I would like to describe myself using a single adjective. Persistent. My world revolves around determination. I am a firm believer in whatever I seek to achieve and I will go all out to put in the effort as well as the dedication that is required for me to succeed.I strongly feel that my persistence has got me this far in life and I owe it all to the hard work that I have been diligently putting in.

MOTIVATIONS
I am really a simple girl and I live my life to the fullest. I am being motivated in every aspect. My family plays a big role in me as they are the ones that provide me with the unconditional love and support in whatever I aim to excel in. They are always right behind me, never letting me fall. I really appreciate my friends as well. They always encourage me for the better and they feel that I should do what is most beneficial to me. However, I do believe that I am a self-motivated person. I always take pride in whatever I do and I do it because I want to and not for anybody else.

PERSONALITY
I feel that I am an introvert-almost 90%. I do not like to voice out my personal thoughts and feelings. I tend to keep everything bottled up inside. I am not outspoken and I often mingle with the people I know. For me, personally, I believe that it is best I analyze things within me, in a softer approach. I can be indecisive at times, being unable to make the simplest decisions in life. I always 'paint a nice picture' of the world around me. Sometimes, I know that my decisions are unjustifiable but I still persist because I feel that I would rather learn things the hard way. At times, I cannot control my emotions and this can lead to having an emotional roller-coaster. This is tough to manage as my feelings tend to dominate my thoughts. I mostly listen to my heart and not my brain.

STRENGTHS & WEAKNESSES
My strengths would include my work attitudes and my self-discipline. I am self-disciplined and I know what is right and what is wrong in life. I am aware of my limits and I am cautious of the boundaries that have been set for me. I will never let anything distract or divert me from achieving success in whatever I do. I owe this to my strong work attitudes. My determination and persistence along with my discipline enable me to do well. Furthermore,I am good at socializing with people. I love to meet new people and everyday for me is like a never-ending journey, where people come and go. I am free and easy going when I am with friends. I can mingle and communicate with people well enough for them to give me the respect that I deserve.

My weaknesses could be dealing with people. This is one of the main problems I have. Making new friends totally differs from being able to handle and deal with their various attitudes.Change. I hate this word. I cannot adapt myself to new situations very well and I tend to be 'clingy'. I cannot handle everyone and sometimes I actually get hurt whilst trying to get to know them better. This again could be due to my overly dominant feelings. It can affect me in every aspect and communication again can be affected. I am afraid that people will be judgmental and have negative opinions about me. Thus, i am always worrying about what others feel of me and I end up suffering myself.

LIKES & DISLIKES
I have many preferences. I love sports and netball would definitely be my favourite. I enjoy playing this sport and I do continue playing up till today. I love netball as I find it an escape route from all the stress and pressure of my daily hectic schedules, including 3rd language classes, tuition and religious classes.I also love art. I have this scrapbook where I draw about anything that comes to my mind. I love doodling during my free time as I find it relaxing since I can express my thoughts. This is another reason as to why I took Art Club as my CCA. It gives me more opportunities to showcase my love for art. I do not have many dislikes as I am optimistic in whatever I do. No matter how hard I find something, I never 'hate' doing it because I believe that we should make the best out of everything. The more we dread it, the harder it will get. Thus, I do not have any dislikes even if I find that some things are just a bit difficult for me.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT ME =]
1) I take french as my 3rd language. It really is a beautiful language and I think that everyone should learn it if given an opportunity.
2) I have a seashell collection. I love seashells and everywhere I go, I collect various seashells that I find and keep them in a jar. I still have it now, although my mum uses some as decorations.
3) I have traveled almost everywhere on Singapore Airlines since my father works there as a cabin crew. He often brings my family on trips to various places every year.
